David Bor Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist
A Psychotherapy Assessment is offered before any ongoing work is agreed, that generally consists of:
-
An initial parent meeting
-
3 sessions with the child/young person
-
A Review meeting to reflect on the assessment and to plan ongoing sessions if agreed.
Reports can be provided at additional cost.
Termly reviews with ongoing work allow for shared understandings and to consider the plan of work.
Parent Work has been shown to be highly effective in supporting a child/young person's development if they do not want therapy themselves, or when parents want to reflect on their understandings and parenting. I am also trained to deliver PACE therapeutic parenting approach.
Parent Work can sometimes be important in supporting a child's progress alongside their own therapy. In those instances the work is provided by a different clinician.
